I have to record both the microphone and wave inputs for a job I am doing.
DSAudioIn only gives a choice of CD Player, Microphone, Line In and Stereo Mix, so how do I find add Wave?
Can it be done with AudioIn instead?
Thanks
Andy.
Hi!
You can use 2 AudioIn components (DS or not) and mix the output. By wave you mean line-in?

Dave

No, I actually mean Wave In - see the attached picture of Windows Mixer - its where things like VLC and my VOIP feed into.
It's the one next to the Master Volume.
Thanks
Andy.
Semantics - depends where you are standing - they may be an output from VLC but they have to go to a mixer input?
OK, so how do I record it then?
This might depend on your soundcard if you can actually do this, maybe the stereo-mix will help you there.
Hmm... tried DSAudioIn's, one to the mic other to stereo mix and it worked - makes you wonder how compatible it will be with other soundcards.
You'd probably be fine with newer cards..
