Wave Input - Andyw999 - 09-21-2012 06:56 PM I have to record both the microphone and wave inputs for a job I am doing. DSAudioIn only gives a choice of CD Player, Microphone, Line In and Stereo Mix, so how do I find add Wave? Can it be done with AudioIn instead? Thanks Andy. RE: Wave Input - Dave - 09-21-2012 08:29 PM Hi! You can use 2 AudioIn components (DS or not) and mix the output. By wave you mean line-in? Regards, Dave RE: Wave Input - Andyw999 - 09-21-2012 08:35 PM [attachment=17][attachment=17]Hi Dave No, I actually mean Wave In - see the attached picture of Windows Mixer - its where things like VLC and my VOIP feed into. It's the one next to the Master Volume. Thanks Andy. RE: Wave Input - Dave - 09-21-2012 09:19 PM But these are outputs... RE: Wave Input - Andyw999 - 09-21-2012 09:21 PM Semantics - depends where you are standing - they may be an output from VLC but they have to go to a mixer input? OK, so how do I record it then? RE: Wave Input - Dave - 09-21-2012 09:44 PM This might depend on your soundcard if you can actually do this, maybe the stereo-mix will help you there. RE: Wave Input - Andyw999 - 09-21-2012 10:03 PM Hmm... tried DSAudioIn's, one to the mic other to stereo mix and it worked - makes you wonder how compatible it will be with other soundcards. RE: Wave Input - Dave - 09-21-2012 10:08 PM You'd probably be fine with newer cards.. |
