ExternalSegmentGaugeElement -- How To Display an Integer Value?

The embedded elements feature of InstrumentLab is EXACTLY what I need in order to produce a great gauge for our firefighting application. However, I'm bewildered as to how to set the properties for the segment gauge element so that it shows a non-leading-zero integer value for an integer number between 0 and 100???!!!! I set the display of the decimal point to FALSE, set the segment gauge to be 3 digits, but I still end up with a trailing zero! So, for a Value property of 71 (which I want to display as "71"), I end up displaying 710! How do I turn off this annoying behavior? Thanks again for your advice!

How to move gauge needles with a mouse or touchscreen

Hi,
We are a firefighting equipment manufacturer and are evaluating your InstrumentLab gauge product for possible use on our Windows-based screen to show positions of various firefighting instruments. Hopefully, your product will be flexible enough that we will purchase a commercial license so that we can use it on our firefighting equipment.

A little bit of my background (so you know who you're dealing with).... I am a Win32 coder (native "C" on Win32) with very little experience with .NET. Unfortunately, it seems that your product can only be used under MFC (yuck) and .NET (less-yuck, but still not ideal -- I'd rather have you send Window Messages to my window loop and let me respond to them). However, I am very pleased with the performance and graphics of your .NET product and am implementing use of your gauge product on C# .NET using Visual Studio 2010 Forms programming.

While I can certainly successfully display positions on your Angular Gauge object in C#.NET (NET 4.0), I am bewildered as to how to manually move the needle of a basic angular gauge using the mouse. What I want to implement is to use a mouse (or touchscreen) to allow the user to drag a gauge needle to a certain position and then notify my program as to where the position on the gauge that the needle is pointing at.

Unfortunately, your documentation seems to be "not completed yet" and although I see that this feature is implemented in InstrumentLab, I don't know what event to respond to or even how to get the .NET object that I need to perform this task.

Do you have any instructions that you'd be willing to share with me on how to let the user use the mouse to move the gauge needle and then retrieve the new position of the gauge needle? Thanks!
