Using VideoLab, EVR and Windows 7
I have determined that some (perhaps many) of the playback problems I've experienced using VideoLab, while trying to play AVCHD (*.mts) files from various Sony camcorders, were a result of some combination of incorrect codecs selected, Windows 7 Aero theme in use (it must be turned off), and *not* using Windows 7's Enhanced Video Renderer (EVR) filter.
I want to configure a VideoLab application so that when connected to GraphEdit, the filter graph looks like this (see also attachment): [ (.MTS video file) ]-->[ "Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder "]-->[ "EVR" ] Can anyone tell me how to make this happen? (I'm not interested in audio, but I don't care if the graph includes it.) I have a DirectShow application, written in Delphi, that yields the above filter and plays the files beautifully. I am not the author, but I am very interested in replicating the filter graph results with VideoLab. Thanks ted |
