Compresses audio using DirectShow.

== Description ==
Requires DirectShow 8.1 or higher.

If you don't want to use DirectShow use the
[[Class ALAudioCompressor.TALAudioCompressor|TALAudioCompressor]] component instead.

This component can be used compress audio. It will use any
filter available to the Audio Compression Manager(ACM). The
compressed data can be sent over TCP/IP or UDP.

To use the component, connect the input pin to a audio source
pin. The output pin can be connected to any component that
accepts generic data buffer.
