Summary

Opens the video file and prepares it for playing.

Description

Call this method if you want to prepare the file for playing. Once the file is ready starting the playback is almost instantaneous. If the file is closed, starting the playback first will open it.

Delphi example:

VLAVIPlayer1.Open;

C++ Builder example:

VLAVIPlayer1->Open();

Visual C++(MFC) example:

VLAVIPlayer1.Open();

Visual C++/CLI example:

aviPlayer1->Open();

C# Example:
