Summary

Opens the device.

Description

Opens the selected audio in driver and builds the DirectShow filter graph. In most cases you will not need to call this procedure. The advantage of calling this before starting the capture is that the capture will start much faster if the device is already open.

Delphi example:

ALDSAudioIn1.Open;

C++ Builder example:

ALDSAudioIn1->Open();

Visual C++(MFC/Win32) example:

ALDSAudioIn1.Open();

Visual C++/CLI example:

dsAudioIn1->Open();
