Hope you don't mind me jumping in with mt 2c Check out the Xvid codec, it does a great job in real time. This is the one I decided to use with our app, it is open source and no worries about roailities. Google should find the Xvid web site where you can down load it.

RE: From VLScreenCapture to web ... any tips?
Thank you, this was a great tip -- not just for the XVid codec, but after installing it I figured out how to properly configure the VLDSVideoLogger! I was previously not setting the VideoCompression.Compressions elements, I had missed the fact that you can insert new items in the Compressions editor. That opened up a whole new world.
Now if I can just fix my evil color distortion problem!!! -ted (12-21-2011 02:23 AM)BReeves Wrote: Hope you don't mind me jumping in with mt 2c Check out the Xvid codec, it does a great job in real time.
